The Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed a portion of U.S. Highway 169 in Tulsa for about an hour on Christmas Eve after a man threatened to jump from an overpass.
U.S. 169 at 91st Street was closed to traffic below as law enforcement attempted to help the man.
He was brought down from the overpass and is safe, police say.
