TULSA – The latest installment in the TYPros’ Street Cred initiative is planning to amplify an already iconic route in Tulsa.

Thursday TYPros announced plans to close off the two outermost lanes of 11th Street between Delaware and Peoria for the chance to showcase a couple of possible multimodal  transit options with Route 66 in the background.

TYPros went on to say that in addition to the transportation programming, Street Cred plans to incorporate other motifs such as a car show and a Route 66 museum.

“There’s an organic revitalization underway along 11th Street,” said Regan. “Our hope is that Street Cred: 66 calls attention to these existing efforts, demonstrating the continued potential along Tulsa’s stretch of America’s Main Street.”
