Organizers said with the 100th Tulsa Race Massacre Anniversary approaching in May of 2021, the pastors of both churches wanted to set an example of unity and respect for their congregations and the city of Tulsa.
Both pastors and volunteers from the church are giving away meals from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
If you're in need of a free meal and can't make it to either location on Thanksgiving day, there are several other locations offering free meals.
