The Tulsa Police Department cited two local bar owners for continuing to operate Saturday evening.

TPD patrol officers witnessed a gathering of twelve to fifteen people gathered in front of one bar.

The individuals were going in and out of the open front door of the bar.

Officers spoke to an individual who claimed to be the owner of the bar; he stated he was working inside when a crowd of people showed up.

The individual bought a round of drinks when they were told it was someone's birthday.

The person was issued a citation for Obstruction of a Civil Defense Order.

Later Saturday evening, the TPD received a tip that a drag queen party was being held at another bar; the party was being streamed live on Facebook.

When officers arrived, they found several cars parked out front and the doors locked.

When the doors were opened by individuals going to their cars, officers found ten people inside.

There was also evidence that drinks were being served.

The owner of the bar stated they had permission from an individual at city hall to host the party; she was issued a citation for Obstruction of a Civil Defense Order.
