Two people injured in north Tulsa house fire

Tulsa Fire said two people were injured in an early morning house fire Wednesday in north Tulsa.

Fire fighters said the fire happened in the 500 block of East 27th Place North around 7 a.m.

Tulsa Police said two people got into fight - possibly over stolen property - when a victim was beaten with a baseball bat and set on fire.

Police said the burned victim was found on a street corner and taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown at this time, but he is alive.

Officials said another victim suffered smoke inhalation.

The suspect is still on the loose, police said.
