Tulsa Police arrested two men following a short pursuit through Midtown Tulsa early Monday morning.
Police attempted to pull over a green Chevy Blazer near 8th and South Atlanta Ave when the driver bailed from the car, leaving it in gear.
Officers say the passenger hopped in the driver's seat and took off. TPD followed the SUV until it stopped at 7th and South Zunis Ave.
The driver was taken into custody without incident. He reportedly claimed he didn't know officers were chasing him.
The original driver was also arrested on drug charges.
The passenger had warrants out for his arrest.
