SAND SPRINGS, Okla. -- Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Sand Springs.
The crash happened near 2nd and Main in front of several shops.
Police said a 76-year-old woman, identified as Mary Jones, was crossing the street with her daughter when they were hit. Jones was taken to the hospital in emergent condition for fractures and her daughter, who is in her 50s, was treated at the scene.
Police said the two were struck in the middle of a crosswalk by an elderly male driver.
No charges have been filed at this time.
