Tulsa Police were called to the area of 41st and Garnett for a report of a stolen vehicle.
The victim located their stolen Ford Explorer at the McDonalds in the area.
The two male suspects were known to carry firearms.
When police attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspects initially stopped then sped away.
At 101 East Avenue and 11th Street the suspect vehicle swerved to miss stop sticks hitting a curb.
The impact from the curb caused one of the tires to flatten.
The suspects continued until they left the roadway, striking a utility poll.
The driver, a 17-year-old male, was ejected through the driver side window.
The passenger, a 14-year-old male, was partially ejected through the same window.
The driver will be charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding.
The passenger may be charged with joy riding.
