TULSA -- Two people were arrested on Thanksgiving Day in connection with a burglary at a school, police said.

Tulsa police officers were dispatched just before 10:40 a.m. to Phoenix Rising Alternative School, which is located at 3341 East Archer Street.

Tulsa police received a report of a burglary in progress and said Tulsa Public Schools officials were watching the burglars on camera.

Police said a K-9 officer located the burglars on the north side of the school. Those arrested were a juvenile and David Cole, 21.

Police said the two had a large black bag that contained loot from the school, which they grabbed after breaking a window to enter the school.

Cole was arrested on a count of second-degree burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
