TULSA -- Two people were arrested Saturday after police say an alleged assault gave way to a police pursuit.
Police say an officer was flagged down near 31st Street and Memorial Drive by a woman who claimed a man was assaulting her.
While attempting to stop the suspect, police say the man fled the scene, leading police on a chase. During the chase, the man lost control of his vehicle, causing damage at two separate locations.
According to a police report, the truck eventually came to a stop after police used stop sticks. Robert Kleweno was arrested for felony eluding, hit and run, and driving under the influence.
Mark Whitehead, an associate of Kleweno according to police, was also arrested for interfering with officers arresting Kleweno.
