Tulsa's police chief, Chuck Jordan, heads to White House for conference

Tulsa Police Department Chief Chuck Jordan was in Washington Tuesday for a conference intended to improve policing.

According to a press release, nearly 60 other cities also sent chiefs of police to the White House event. Deputy Chief Jonathan Brooks also attended the conference.

In 2014, President Obama invited the chiefs to the event in order to launch the initiative. Now, the departments are making some of the improvements.
