Leadership Tulsa is calling on high school students to apply for the second class of the Latinx Youth Leadership Institute (LYLI) to gain leadership skills and prepare for college.
The extended deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 4.
Any high school student 9th through 12th grade can apply for the youth program. A selection committee will select up to 30 students to participate in LYLI.
They will attend an orientation, eight two-hour sessions with dinner provided and a college visit.
The program will be held one day a week after school from March 10 to May 5.
