TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa's Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead festival is about to be bigger and better than last year, says organizer Jose Vega.

This year the Living Arts of Tulsa is partnering with Guthrie Green to offer a free entrance to the event that will feature live music, dancing, food, vendors and traditional altars.

The holiday celebrates Hispanic heritage to remember and honor loved ones who have passed away.

It will take place on Friday, November 1 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
