TULSA — The Tulsa Zoo is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for its new $3 million playground.
Officials say the Helmerich Behaving Like Animals Playground is the first project of Building Beyond Phase 2.
It will allow children to mimic behaviors and movements they see displayed by zoo animals.
The groundbreaking, featuring Mayor G.T. Bynum, will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10.
