Tulsa Zoo mourns the loss of Bebeto the jaguar

TULSA – Zoo workers mourned the loss of one of the oldest animals this week.

According to the Tulsa Zoo, Bebeto the jaguar was humanely euthanized Tuesday after caregivers noticed he was declining in health and mobility.

Bebeto was estimated to be more than 20-years-old and according to the Tulsa Zoo that made him among one of the oldest jaguars in human care.

The spotted wild cat was brought to the Tulsa Zoo in 2007 from the Fort Worth Zoo.
