TULSA--The Tulsa zoo announced on Monday afternoon that Gunda the elephant has died.
Gunda was placed into end-of-life care on January 16. She died Monday, January 22.
Gunda was an iconic member of the Tulsa Zoo. She was 67 years old.
The zoo released a statement saying that friends can share memories of Gunda with the hashtag, #ElebrationOfLife.
