The Tulsa Youth Keyboard Orchestra was founded in April 2019, the group consists of the Preparatory Orchestra and the Advanced Orchestra.
The preparatory group is for the beginner to early intermediate pianists, while the advanced group is for the intermediate to advanced pianists.
There orchestra members had three concerts set up, but they were all canceled due to the pandemic.
The group's organizers kept the members connected using Zoom, this allowed the students to keep practicing and working towards the goal of a Spring Concert.
The TYKO will be hosting a virtual concert today at 6:00 p.m., you can watch the performance on YouTube or Facebook.
