TULSA -- A Tulsa woman was hospitalized Sunday after police say she crashed her vehicle into an ambulance.
Police say the woman first sideswiped a car near 76th Street and Riverside Drive. According to police, the woman continued driving down Riverside toward 71st Street.
She then struck an ambulance transporting a patient, say police. Neither the patient nor the paramedic driving the ambulance were hurt.
The woman who crashed into the ambulance was taken to the hospital for a leg injury.
She was cited for running a red light, hit and run and driving under suspension.
