TULSA — The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System will hold a town hall and resource fair for veterans early next month.

It will be held Aug. 5 from 12-2 p.m. at the VFW, Post 577 in Tulsa at 1109 East 6th Street. A free lunch will be served at 11 a.m. for the first 75 people who attend.

The Department of Veterans Affairs says under the MISSION Act, effective June 6, veterans now have more ways to access health care.

Representatives from the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System, Muskogee VA Regional Office and Fort Gibson National Cemetery will also be on hand to help veterans enroll for health care and answer questions.
