Tulsa Transit to officially launch new Aero Bus Rapid Transit

TULSA — Tulsa Transit and the City of Tulsa officials are announcing the official launch of the new Aero Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.

Officials say free fares will continue to be offered on the Aero BRT buses through Jan. 2.

The official launch will take place on Thurs. Dec. 19 around 11 a.m. at the Aero BRT bus station at 50th Street North and Peoria, in front of McLain High School.

Mayor G.T. Bynum, Tulsa Transit GM Ted Rieck, Tulsa Transit board members and other city officials will be speaking at the ribbon-cutting event.
