TULSA, Okla. — As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Tulsa County, Tulsa Transit is requiring that all riders must wear a mask to ride the bus starting Monday, Nov. 2.
For those without a mask, officials said there will be a limited supply of one-time masks available while supplies last.
The public transit system said it is also encouraging social distancing and limiting the number of riders on each bus.
“With the number of COVID-19 cases remaining high in our area, we want to ensure we’re doing our part to keep our drivers and riders safe,” said Ted Rieck, Tulsa Transit general manager. “Our ‘no mask, no ride’ rule will help keep our community safer and help prevent the spread of the virus.”
