TULSA — Tulsa Tough officials say they are back to the original course for Sunday's race after massive cleanup on Riverside Drive due to flooding in the area.
On their Facebook page, Tulsa Tough said the folks at River Parks Authority were able to get the trails in shape and have Riverside Drive back open in time for Sunday's races.
Before the announcement on Wednesday, Tulsa Tough had to re-route around flooded areas and secure new rest stops due to the flooding of the Arkansas River.
Rivers Parks Authority workers repaired sinkholes on the river trail system to ensure the area will be safe for cyclists and spectators.
The course loops from Riverside Drive, north on Lawton, east on 13th Street and south on Galveston Avenue to return to Riverside
Tulsa Tough officials said Sunday’s River Parks Criterium will use the classic course and Sunday’s Fondos will start and finish from their regular spots on Riverside.
