TULSA — The first baby born on Tax Day this year was the lucky winner of money that will go into a college savings account.
Officials with the Oklahoma 529 College Savings Plan visited the St. John Medical Center on Monday and presented the mother Shelby Bilek, and baby Abigail, with $1,529 toward at OCSP account.
The Tax Day Baby title goes to the first baby at the hospital on Tax Day, the deadline to file federal income taxes.
Contributions made to OCSP accounts are typically eligible for a state income tax deduction.
