TULSA – The spot once known for its sports fan crowds and watch parties closed its doors Saturday.
Leon’s on Brookside sent a statement announcing its sudden closure after being in business for around eight years.
The restaurant and bar was opened by a Bishop Kelley High School graduate J.L. Lewis in 2008.
“To our loyal fans and regulars, thank you for your support over the years. My family and I will be forever grateful,” said Lewis.
According to Leon’s statement, the business is ending its lease to make way for a “new tenant.”
Lewis says he is attempting to make sure all of his current staff find new opportunities in the industry.
