TULSA - The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has a person of interest in the burning of a patrol car Friday, and is asking the public to help identify this man.

Just before 6 am on Sept. 8, a TCSO patrol car was set on fire in the parking lot of Tulsa Tech's Sand Springs Campus.

Surveillance video captured a man on a bike approaching the vehicle. Out of the camera's view, a TCSO report says he breaks a window and throws something inside the car. The suspect flees east and moments later flames appear inside the patrol car, deputies say.

The vehicle was destroyed. Anyone with tips on the identity of the arsonist is asked call TCSO dispatch at 918-596-5600 or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
