TULSA — The decision to close four Tulsa Elementary Schools, saving the district millions of dollars, now rests with the school board.
Superintendent Doctor Deborah Gist is recommending closing Wright, Grimes, Mark Twain, and Jones Elementary.
The Tulsa World reports the school board will vote on the closures at its next meeting in two weeks.
It would require 1200 students to relocate.
