TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools announced students can get four days of grab-and-go meals for fall break when classes are not in session.
The meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner free of charge, according to TPS officials. All Tulsa children ages 18 and under are eligible.
Meal pick up is on Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The district said it will not serve grab-and-go meals or mobile meals during fall break starting Wednesday, Oct. 14 to Friday, Oct. 16.
Families who bring their child to meal pick-up are not required to show identification. Families can pick up meals without having their student present with one of the following forms of student identification:
- School report card, student ID card or Clever (distance learning) log-in badge;
- Child’s passport; birth certificate; government-issued child identification card;
- Text message from the district’s short-code (67-587); or
- Any document providing parent/guardian identity and relationship to the child, such as an adoption decree; doctor, clinic, or hospital record; religious record; or daycare center record.
The district said staff members will continue to follow COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. TPS officials also encourage families to follow the City of Tulsa's safety guidance around face masks and social distancing.
