TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools is offering free flu shots for students.
TPS and Oklahoma Caring Van are teaming up to provide free flu shots for kids ages 2 to 18 years old. The Oklahoma Caring Van program provides immunizations at no cost to protect kids and adolescents from illnesses.
Staff are following COVID-19 safety protocols using personal protective equipment and social distancing. Parents and families are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Officials said a parent or legal guardian must be with the child and bring the child's shot records in order for them to receive a flu shot.
Below are the dates, times and location the free flu shots will be available for students:
- Thursday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Booker T. Washington High School (1514 E. Zion St.)
- Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at East Central High School (12150 E. 11th St.)
