A group of Tulsa weightlifters honored those killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack while raising money for local first responders.

Dynamic Sports Development hosted its first power lifting meet Saturday. The facility helps train Tulsa officers, firefighters and even FBI agents.

More than 60 people of all ages from across the nation competed in three events.

"There's a veteran here who just squatted using one leg and a cane so he and an adoptive event and he just killed it, he squatted like 350 something insane like that," says Jaime Espalin, a coach with the program.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Tulsa area Fit First Responders.
