There's a push underway to get more kids to read in Green Country.

"Tulsa Pop Kids" is organizing a comic book drive to hopefully get 1000 comics to "Reading Partners Tulsa".

There are nearly two dozen locations across Tulsa County where you can drop off comics to help kids read.

"I can remember my mother saying when she was in the 30's, teachers would burn comic book because they thought it was the most horrible thing in the world. Today I think that teachers can get kids to read comic books they're thrilled with it because it gets them to read" Douglas Goodsell, Owner of World of Comics.

If you donate you can enter to win free Chick-Fil-A or Andolini's for a year.
