TULSA — The Tulsa Police Department is seeking a 39-year-old man wanted for kidnapping and assault as a part of its weekly most wanted program.

Police say Travis Bayless, described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 210 pounds, is wanted for Harboring a Fugitive, Possession of CD with Intent, Possession of Firearm, Kidnapping and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

A police report says the man, a known methamphetamine user, would not let a woman leave his home, and had zapped her with a stun gun, hit her with the handle of a large knife and dragged her into a garage.

Police say Bayless will be held without bond when he is captured.
