TULSA - Police arrested a man after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriends parent's home and attempted to flee from police.

Police say 28-year-old Xavier Garcia-Santiago broke into the home just before 3 in the morning Saturday. Police say they tried to arrest Satiago, but he fled on foot.

Police say after chasing the suspect and placing him into the back of a patrol car, he "jumped out and took off running."

Police say they had to use a taser to bring Satiago into custody.

Santiago faces several charges, including 1st degree burglary, escape from arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and public intoxication.
