TULSA — Reckless driving, street racing, and drivers without a license.

It's all a threat in a busy part of south Tulsa where police are now cracking down on drivers.

Police officers were busy this Easter weekend along Memorial Drive between 41st and 51st Streets where they say they wrote 11 citations.

This included misdemeanor arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol.

They also say two parents were cited for allowing their teenage kids to drive without a license.

The kids were also cited for trespassing.

Police were also targeting any illegal behavior on the roads.

Just last week, they responded to a shooting near 51st and Memorial.

A teenager was shot inside a home and was sent to the hospital.

The mother told officers that her boyfriend shot her son.

At last check.. police were still searching for the suspect.

The Mingo Valley Division says they'll be enforcing this area heavily over the next few months.
