Person of interest sought in assault incident

TULSA – Authorities are asking for help in identifying a person of interest believed to be connected to a vandalism and assault that occurred recently.

Tulsa police say the picture above, or right below, is the person they are seeking to identify.

The incident occurred at 1440 S. Lewis Avenue on May 15 around 8:40 a.m. Tulsa police say that following an encounter inside the business, the suspect and the victim exited to the parking lot where the assault and vandalism occurred.

Tulsa police went on to report that the male in the white tank top allegedly yelled slurs about the victim’s race and sexual orientation during the offense.

Authorities believe the vehicle is from the late 90s or early 2000s and is a Chevy Malibu. The last two tag numbers of the vehicle is VE.

The vehicle was driven by a white woman with bleached blonde hair and the black woman picture below was a passenger who is said to have witnessed the incident.
