TPD: Shots fired inside west Tulsa McDonald's

Posted

Tulsa police say an armed robber fired at least three rounds inside a west Tulsa McDonald's.

The incident happened Thursday night at the restaurant located near West 21st Street and Southwest Boulevard.

According to Capt. Malcolm Williams, the suspect entered the store, fired a single round into the ceiling and then demanded money.

He fired at least two more rounds, according to Williams.

First, the suspect fired one shot into the floor as he approached the cash register.

Then, he fired a round into the register in frustration because he was unable to open it.

Williams says the suspect's description is vague.

"The only description they were able to give us as far as that the gentlemen came in with a ski mask on and dark pants and a hoodie," he said.

The suspect fled with another man in a dark colored four-door vehicle.

No one was hurt in the shooting.

Both suspects are at-large.
