Tulsa police respond to a carjacking in east Tulsa

Tulsa police say a carjacking took place Thursday night in east Tulsa.

Around 9:25 p.m. officers responded to a possible carjacking.

Police say the victim and a friend were standing outside in a parking lot of an apartment complex and were approached by two men.

The two men told the victims to back up, while pointing a gun at them, police say.

officers say the suspects then proceeded to get into the victim's vehicle and drive off.

The victim's vehicle is described as being a 2004 white Honda Civic.
