TULSA – More information regarding the 63rd homicide of the year has been released by Tulsa police.
On Wednesday, Tulsa police say they found a 34-year-old woman fatally stabbed inside an apartment near the 1300th block of East 36th SN. Officers were allegedly led to another apartment where the suspect was said to be hiding.
Reginald Lyke, 37, was eventually obtained and arrested, say Tulsa police. After interviewing Lyke, Tulsa police say, he was arrested on complaint of murder. Several items were recovered that police believe are evidence and will link Lyke to the death of the woman.
Authorities are still searching for people who were in the area during the time of the incident and encourage anyone with information to come forward. Right now, Tulsa police say, they know that Lyke and the woman were smoking some type of drug but they are not sure what that drug was.
