TULSA -- One man was arrested after he crashed into a police cruiser, according to the Tulsa Police Department.
Officer K. Hoey was involved in the crash.
Investigators say Hoey was driving home from his shift when a black pickup slammed into him.
48-year-old Richard McMorris was behind the wheel and was arrested for driving under the influence causing an injury accident and failure to maintain lane.
McMorris hit the police cruiser so hard, the doors impelled his truck.
Officer Hoey was transported to the hospital and released.
