A man was shot in the chest while he was walking on a north Tulsa street.
It happened early Wednesday morning near East 36th Street North and North Lansing Avenue.
Tulsa police say the victim saw a gray Chevrolet Impala pull up next to him. Then, the victim said the passenger fired a round at him, which hit him on the right side of his chest.
The victim, described as a 20-year-old man, ran to an acquaintance's home at East 33rd Street North and North Hartford Avenue and called emergency services.
EMSA took the victim to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury, according to police.
Police say that without a good suspect description, a vague vehicle description and lack of a shooting scene, it will be difficult to investigate the crime.
