Tulsa Police: Man found stabbed in midtown Tulsa

TULSA — According to the Tulsa police, early Wednesday morning, officers responded to a man who had been stabbed in midtown.

The victim, who was found in a driveway near East 16th Street and South Newport Avenue , was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable but critical condition.

The victim told police that two men walked into his open front door, demanded money, and then stabbed him. The victim said the men stole his money, officers say.

Officers say the man was uncooperative and denied police to process the inside of his residence.
