Oilton Police: Missing woman with Alzheimers found safe

TULSA, Okla. — Oilton police say missing 72-year-old woman has been found safe.

Oilton Police Department posted on Facebook that Brenda Carter was located and is back with her family.

Police thanked all first responders, Oilton citizens and members of the Oilton Police Department for their help in finding Carter.

On Tuesday, Tulsa Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing 72-year-old woman.

Brenda Carter was last seen Monday evening near Rockford Place and East 68th Street, according to Tulsa police. She was wearing a white sweater, white t-shirt, blue pants, and black slippers.

Carter was driving a 2005 white Ford Taurus with the Oklahoma tag GUZ-345.

Police said she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
