1 taken to hospital in critical condition after north Tulsa shooting

TULSA -- A man is in critical condition after an argument escalated into a shooting in north Tulsa on Wednesday.

The shooting, which was in the 2100 block of North Hartford Avenue near the Edenwood apartments, occurred after a 16-year-old boy and 24-year-old man got into a dispute.

Police said the 16-year-old pulled out a gun and shot the other man multiple times.

The victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.

The 16-year-old boy has not been arrested. Police did not have the boy's name, but said he has a short afro, and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts at the time of the shooting.
