Tulsa police investigate shootout at east Tulsa bar

TULSA — Tulsa police are investigating a shooting that happened at an east Tulsa bar early Friday.

The incident happened at Pit Stop Bar at 816 South Sheridan at about 5:30 a.m.

Police said the bar was open and operating as an after-hours establishment when an unknown man entered with a gun after a previous altercation and shot another man in the stomach. The victim returned fire, which caused the initial shooter and other patrons to flee.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

Police are still working to locate the suspect in the case.
