Tulsa Police investigating deadly hit-and-run; woman allegedly hit ex-boyfriends girlfriend with car

A woman is facing new charges after police say she ran over and killed her ex-boyfriends current girlfriend.

Friday night, the victim and her boyfriend were walking on East 47th Place near Yale Avenue when police say Brittany Payne Wright, 26, drove off the street.

Wright then hit the victim, dragging her under the vehicle. The victim died Friday night after being taken to a Tulsa hospital.

Investigators say Wright is charged with child endangerment because her child was in the car with her at the time of the hit-and-run.

Wright is also facing murder and assault with a deadly weapon charges.
