TULSA - Police are investigating threats made by a clown to kill students at a Tulsa area school.
Tulsa police received a call from a mother who claimed her daughter received a Facebook message from a clown making a threat.
The girl is a middle school student at Tulsa Public Schools.

According to police, they have contacted officials with TPS to alert them about a clown contacting Tulsa area students threatening to kill them. No word on how many threats have been made.
TPS issued this statement to 2 Works for You:
"The safety of our students, teachers, and school communities is a priority at Hale Junior High School and throughout Tulsa Public Schools. Campus Police are in contact with the Tulsa Police Department about a report of a threat made on social media. Campus Police are investigating this incident and will respond accordingly. We take all safety concerns very seriously and we are working closely with school leadership at Hale Junior High."
Police are taking the threats seriously from the clown known as Sammy Kellz.
