Tulsa Police investigating after shots fired during Taco Bueno armed robbery

TULSA -- Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a Tulsa Taco Bueno Friday night.

Police say the suspect entered the restaurant armed with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.

While pulling the drawer from the register, the suspect allegedly fired the weapon, striking the drawer. Witnesses say it appeared accidental.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

The robbery happened on the 11700 block of East 11th Street around 9 p.m.
