TULSA -- Tulsa police have made an arrest in the city's 61st homicide of 2016.
28-year-old Dewantez Lovelace is accused of killing and shooting a man in a drug deal in east Tulsa Saturday morning.
Police responded to East 30th Place and South 135th East Avenue around 2 in the morning Saturday after neighbors told police they heard multiple gunshots.
According to police, neighbors are offering up surveillance video to police to assist in their investigation.
Lovelace is facing one count of first-degree murder.
Police say Lovelace is an ex-con with multiple felony convictions.
