Tulsa Police investigate Taco Mayo robbery, police say employees forced into freezer

TULSA - Tulsa Police are investigating after they say two men robbed a Taco Mayo near 4th and South Utica Wednesday night.

Officers say the robbery happened around 11:30 p.m.

They say the suspects threw a rock through the window and crawled into the building. They say one man showed a semi automatic handgun.

Police say the men forced two employees into the freezer and shut the door.

Police say the suspects took money from the register and ran off.

The employees waited until after the suspects left to leave the freezer and call police.

No customers were inside.
