Tulsa police investigate overnight home invasion in midtown

TULSA -- Tulsa police are investigating a home invasion that happened overnight in midtown.

The incident was reported at about 1:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of South Florence Avenue.

Officers found the victim, an elderly woman, who said she was woken up by the suspect, who had entered her home from a back door. 

The robber, who was described as wearing a mask and gloves, pointed a gun at the woman while demanding cash.

Police said the victim locked herself in a bathroom and then fled to a neighbor's house, where police were called.

The victim had no injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
