Tulsa Police identify officers, man killed during fatal officer-involved shooting

TULSA -- Police have identified the two officers and the man killed during a fatal officer-involved shooting Friday.

According to Tulsa Police, Officer Jim Brill, 34, and Officer Lance Bond, 29, were involved in the shooting that left 58-year-old William Frost (pictured below) dead.

According to police, Frost pulled a knife on a couple trying to sell a car near 1st and Utica Friday afternoon.

Once police arrived on scene, investigators say Frost refused to drop the knife he was carrying. Officers first deployed a Taser more than once before shooting Frost several times.

Both Brill and Bond have been placed on administrative leave with pay.
